And the winner is ... Kelli S. (entry #5)! Congratulations, Kelli!
It was a very difficult choice, because all those who entered deserved to win. There would have been good reasons for me to choose any one of them. When evaluating the top three vote-getters, I took several factors into consideration:
1. Level of experience. I wanted someone who had not done affiliate marketing before so that those who follow along with the case study will see that a newbie can do this.
----------
2. How badly they need the help. Obviously, they all felt they needed the assistance of a mentor, which is why they entered. But based on the reasons they gave as well as a little reading between the lines, I felt some needed the boost more than others.
----------
3. The level of commitment and energy. This case study subject needs to be dedicated, work hard, and be reliable with their case study reports for this blog.
----------
4. Overall potential. Don't get me wrong; I think all the contestants have great potential. But I had to go with my gut as to who would best suit this case study "adventure" in general.
Kelli wasn't at the top in all four of those areas, but she was in the majority of them. I think you will enjoy her enthusiasm, energy, and the personality she has already displayed in her entry!
She has won a free copy of the Affiliate Marketing Schoolbook Beginner Course, a year of free hosting for her first site, and free mentoring throughout the course and beyond. In return, she will follow the AMS lesson plan step by step, documenting her goals, progress, and problems (there are always problems!) by means of a weekly post here at SkipTheScams.com. You will be able to see her site develop in real time as she creates it.
Her first post will be published next Wednesday, May 5. Be sure to subscribe so you won't miss it.
Thanks again to all who entered and/or voted in this contest. I will likely be holding similar contests in the future, so stay tuned!

I LOVE my “job.” Affiliate marketing takes work, but it doesn’t feel like work.
